On Sunday we said goodbye to yet another Strictly star as the competition got that much tighter.

The results of the week's elimination show saw the exit of Loose Women star Judi Love and her partner Graziano di Prima as well as a shift in the bookie's odds.

The pair were booted off the BBC hit show after they found themselves in the dance-off against Olympian Adam Peaty and Katya Jones.

After Judi and Graziano left the ballroom, Betfair revealed its pick for the celebrity most likely to pick up the 2021 glitterball trophy.

And for the third week in a row, Eastenders actress Rose Ayling-Ellis has been named the favourite to win the competition.

Bookmakers updated her odds to make them her shortest ever following her perfect 40 score at the weekend.

Rose and Giovanni danced the tango on Saturday's Halloween special to Ed Sheeran's hit song 'Shivers'.

The pop star spoke to Strictly contestant Dan Walker and Sally Nugent on BBC Breakfast this morning and revealed that Rose and Giovanni were his pick to win the contest.

Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: "After a perfect score of 40 at the weekend, Rose Ayling-Ellis's odds of winning Strictly have got even shorter to an odds-on 2/5.

"A matter of three weeks ago, she was in a two horse race with John Whaite and AJ Odudu, but now she has broken clear from the chasing pack.

"Whaite is second favourite on 9/2, showing the gap between her and the Eastenders star, who the betting suggests already has one hand on the coveted Glitterball trophy."
