Police Scotland have released images of a man they want to trace over a serious assault in January.
A 33-year-old man was left with serious facial injuries after he was attacked as he was crossing Castlemilk Road, near Kingsbridge Drive, in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire, at 2.20pm on Sunday January 14.
The man officers want to speak to has been described as being aged between 30 and 40, 6ft, of medium build and he has a local accent.
Pc Alan Smith has urged the man to get in contact.
“We are appealing for the man in the image to come forward, or anyone who knows of him to get in contact,” he said.
“We believe he may be able to assist us in this inquiry.”
Anyone with information can contact police via 101, quoting incident number 2018 of January 14.
