A NOT-for-profit hospital based in Tees Valley has appointed a new business development manager to promote its work and services.

Mark Throw has recently been appointed by Nuffield Health Tees Hospital in Norton, Stockton, to oversee the sales and marketing of the hospital.

He said: “The whole team has a good focus on where they want the hospital to be over the next five years. These are exciting times with some good challenges ahead. I'm really looking forward to getting my teeth into the work coming up.”

The 43-year-old has been working in the healthcare sector for over eleven years specialising in the medical manufacturing industries. He also worked for an independent ambulance company in Darlington.

Mark studied in the North East at Darlington Technical College, Gateshead College and Durham College. He currently holds a CIM marketing certificate and Management Level 4 qualification.
