DUCKS have been left high and dry while essential repair work is carried out to a Victorian fountain and village pond.
The fountain on Norton Green was damaged by freezing conditions over the winter and will be out of action until March.
Stockton Council is carrying out the annual maintenance work on the pond while the fountain is being repaired.
