A SHOPPING centre has praised its customers for their generosity in donations spent throughout 2018.
Castlegate shopping centre in Stockton successfully raised £5,307 for the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation last year.
The centre arranged a series of family events, hosted a charity quiz night and built a Santa's grotto at Christmas.
These events helped raise the shopping centre's significant donation over a 12 months period.
Chantal Taylor of Castlegate Stockton said: "We are truly grateful to our customers for their kindness and generosity to help us raise this amazing amount of money.
"The money will go towards fantastic community causes in Teesside and we’re very proud to be doing our bit for local people and groups who need it most."
