A HALLOWEEN attraction has been named as one of the scariest seasonal events out of hundreds of UK attractions.
The Scream Factory at Kirkleatham Museum, Redcar, has been added to the list of the top ten scariest Halloween activities by the blog holidaylettings.
The event, running throughout the month until October 31, is set in an old 'haunted' nursery behind the museum and is made up of nine scare zones.
The unguided Extreme Tour lasts for 45 to 50 minutes where visitors can explore the site in groups of up to ten.
There is also a Twilight Tour designed for younger visitors and families where children over the age of three can follow a Mad Hatter's tea party trail.
