CREATIVE students have shown their artistic side during an annual hairdressing and beauty therapy competition designed to test their skills.
The Redcar and Cleveland College students were challenged with creating avant-garde and fantasy looks to impress a panel of judges.
The overall competition winner was Alla Loughran, a Level 2 hairdressing student, whose ‘fantasy’ submission captured the imagination of the judges.
She said: “I am thrilled to win the hair and beauty competition. It was hard work and took lots of planning but I really enjoyed it.
"My daughter, Natasha, was my model so to have her with me made the day even more special. I’d like to work in hairdressing after college and I’m now excited for my future career.”
