FOOD lovers had their tastebuds tickled when Saltburn Farmers’ Market enjoyed another busy day on Saturday.
And Graham Ford – otherwise known as The Chilihound - had special reason to remember the day, when fellow stallholders sprang an impromptu surprise to help celebrate his first year of trading at the market.
The former psychology teacher and roadie with Indie band The House of Love, first brought his own brand of homemade Chilihound Sauces to the monthly event last September.
He said: “The place has been buzzing with shoppers eager to taste all that was on offer, and I even got a cake and a card from all the other stallholders - couldn’t have had a better day really.”
Saltburn Farmers’ Market is next up on Saturday, October 11, near Saltburn Railway Station, between 9amand 3pm.
