A low risk nuclear fuel alternative, thorium, will be discussed by Professor Roger Barlow at the 10th anniversary of Café Scientifique at the Arc arts centre in Stockton on Tuesday, January 21, at 8pm.
Entry is free but a donation of £4 is suggested. He will talk about the need for nuclear fuel as an essential part of a balanced economy at the monthly meeting of topical issues in science and technology in a café setting.
