FREE insulation is still up for grabs in Middlesbrough to ensure homes stay warm while the cold weather refuses to ease its grip.
Extra funding has been made available enable installers to extend the offer for a limited period.
The free wall and loft insulation is on offer to privately owned and privately rented properties across the town by Middlesbrough Environment City.
It is entirely free, regardless of financial circumstances and there are no restrictions related to benefit or age.
Those on certain government benefits who are a home owner or rent their property from a private landlord may also be eligible for funding to replace their old inefficient boiler with a free new A–rated boiler.
Any Middlesbrough resident who would like to request a free assessment of their insulation needs or information on replacing their old boiler can call Middlesbrough Environment City on 01642-243183.
