HUB OPENING: People are invited to celebrate the opening of Newport Settlement’s Community Hub tomorrow (Thursday, January 31) from 2pm to 6pm. There will be a variety of entertainment including live music, railway group displays and tours of the building. Refreshments will be available, and the dance club will be selling cakes to raise funds for their group. The event will be held at Newport Settlement, St Paul’s Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 5NQ. HEALTHY WALK: The latest Healthy Walk, led by Cleveland Alzheimer’s Residential Centre (Clevearc) is to be held on Friday, February 1 at 9.30am. The walk, which is for carers, ex-carers and friends or relatives of people with dementia, will leave from Kirkdale, Radcliffe Crescent, Teesdale, Thornaby.
