PROCEEDS from James Arthur’s million selling single will help a hospice in the region.
All profits from the sale of the X Factor star’s number one song ‘Impossible’ will be donated to the Together for Short Lives charity, which supports children needing palliative care. Stockton’s Butterwick Hospice will receive a share of the proceeds.
Jackie Firth, PR Manager for the children’s hospice, said: “These fantastic sales figures and James’ increasing popularity will really help to make a difference to children and families. X Factor has really helped highlight the issues faced by the children and families we care for, and the funds from the single sales will go towards providing them with the best possible care.”
At least £1 from each CD sale and 20p from the sale of each download will be given to the charity by record label Syco.
