AN ANNUAL art exhibition which allows amateur and professional artists to exhibit their work is back at the end of this month.

The Spot on the Wall exhibition at The Station, Richmond, sees more than 60 amateur and professional artists, photographers and sculptors come together to fill the walls and cabinets of the old station building with an extensive collection of works – all of which are for sale.

“This exhibition is so special as it brings together such a huge range of talented artists,” said communications coordinator Jemma Gregory. “Whether this is their first exhibition or they have been exhibiting for years, as a profession or a hobby, they sit side by side on the walls of our beautiful building.”

Each time a piece of art is sold from the artist’s spot, they replace it with another.

“This is great for the artist, as there are virtually unlimited opportunities for sales,” said Mrs Gregory. “It is also great for visitors, as the exhibition looks different every time.” A Spot on the Wall runs from January 25 to February 26. The Station features art exhibitions, 3D art shop, café|bar, cinema, and food and drink producers.
