DANCERS from Richmond School have impressed audiences at their recent dance extravaganza.
More than 100 dancers in the school's Evolution Dance Company performed 'An Evening at the Oscars' with music from Avatar, Alice in Wonderland, Black Swan, Life of Pi, and Lion King.
The cast were supported by a lighting and technical team and backstage crew who helped create the make-up and costumes.
The show raised more than £700 for the dance department to purchase a new lighting system, for the dance studio, to create a more specialist performance space for dance students.
Head of dance Danni Fox said: “I would like to congratulate all students involved in the Evolution Dance show. It really was mesmerising to see over 100 students across all year groups performing together on stage in the show-stopping Bohemian Rhapsody finale. A huge thank you must also be sent out to our brilliant Sixth Form Evolution dance leaders Brandon Sutherland-Parker, Izzy Walton and Sophie Wright."
