A NEW club is set to offer adults with learning disabilities the opportunity to try their hand at a range of crafts and activities.
On November 3, Northdale Horticulture in Northallerton will launch the new activity club to run on the first Saturday of every month.
The Northdale team will pick up participants from their homes in the morning and take them to Northdale, the plant nursery on Yafforth Road, for a day of cooking, arts and craft projects, forest school activities, drama or day trips.
After the day’s activities, team will drop everyone back at home.
A Northdale spokesman said: “The group is friendly and sociable so whether people are looking to make new friends, learn new skills or get out and about, the Saturday group is offering something for everyone.”
