PEOPLE working in Richmondshire have only a few days left if they wish to be considered for a home on a new affordable housing development in the town.
Broadacres, in partnership with Richmondshire District Council, is about to complete work on the 24-home scheme next to The Station complex, called Priory House.
The properties are advertised on www.northyorkshirehomechoice.org.uk, but people only have until midnight tomorrow (Tuesday) to register their interest for one of the 20 two-bedroom or four one-bedroom apartments.
Applicants must be aged 21 or over or possess a proven track record of holding and managing a residential tenancy or mortgage. They, or a member of their household, must be in permanent employment, or taking up permanent employment, in Richmondshire.
Properties on the £2.9m development – built on the site of the former Arriva bus depot – are expected to be completed at the end of April and are available to rent for a weekly charge of £96.10 for a two-bedroom apartment or £83.87 for a one-bedroom apartment. A service charge will also be applied.
People who require any further information prior to registering their interest can contact Broadacres on 01609-767900.
