A celebration of Baptism is to take place at Stokesley Methodist Church on Saturday, March 29. The church will be displaying items relating to baptism, including a collection of christening gowns, certificates and other memorabilia of interest. The church will be open from 10am until 3pm and there will be stalls selling baby items and Mother’s Day and Easter gifts. Refreshments will also be available. Proceeds will go to charity. There will be a special Mother’s Day service at the church the following day (Sunday, March 30) at 10.30am.

TENNIS EVENT FOR STUDENTS: A free tennis event is being held in Stokesley for students on Monday, March 31, between 3.45pm and 6pm. Stokesley Tennis Club, opposite the leisure centre on Broughton Road, is inviting Stokesley School students to play for free, to sample its new Cardio Tennis fitness class or just have a game with friends.
