A MAN was thrown from a car in a collision near a stately home. The accident involved a Honda Civic containing three men in their 20s and a BMW driven by a female, near the entrance to Castle Howard at Coneythorpe, North Yorkshire at about 9pm on Friday (May 3). The accident left the Honda Civic overturned in a field. One man was thrown clear of the vehicle and another had to cut free from the wreckage suffering spinal and head injuries. The two were taken to hospital by air ambulance and a third patient was taken to hospital by road ambulance. Any witnesses should ring North Yorkshire Police on 101.
