ONE of the UK’s most well-known big band singers is to stage a performance at a community-run arts venue. On Saturday, May 11, Matthew Ford will be performing at the Forum in Northallerton. The singer has performed with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the City of Birmingham Symphony, BBC and RTE Concert Orchestras. The Forum was taken over by volunteers just over a year ago and is now run as a registered charity. Tickets cost £12 and are available from the venue on Bullamoor Road.
