AN insurance broker has branched out with new premises in the County town of North Yorkshire.
Peter Brown has almost 20 years’ experience in the sector, having started his career with Co-operative Insurance Services.
In recent years he operated his business – Alverton Insurance Brokers – from the family home in Northallerton, but growing success has now forced a relocation to new premises in the town centre’s Garthway Arcade.
“It was just getting too busy at home with regular callers,” said the father-of-four, who has been joined in the venture by wife, Wendy – a trained accounting technician and accounts clerk. They hope to take on more staff in the future.
“The move also gives us access to an even larger range of products for our clients and allows us to be even more flexible in our approach.”
