THE organisers of this summer’s Durham Blues Festival have completed the line-up for the event’s main stage.
Lancashire-born soul singer Kyla Brox and her band will be part of a bill that includes headliner Walter Trout, former Dr Feelgood guitarist Wilko Johnson, Bradford’s Chantel McGregor, the classic 1970s rock-influenced band Mostly Autumn, and virtuoso guitarist Larry Miller.
Kyla Brox has recorded six albums and won acclaim for her authentic, emotional style.
The festival will be held by Grimsby-based Solid Entertainments on Saturday June 25 from 3 to 11pm in Dunelm House, the Durham University Student Union building in New Elvet, Durham City As well as a main stage in the main hall there will be a smaller secondary stage. The acts appearing on that have yet to be confirmed.
Advance tickets cost £24 - £29 on the day - and to launch the event Solid Entertainments are offering 200 early bird tickets for £19,.
