A TOWN’S Mayor is proceeding with preparations for the annual civic ball.
The event is one of the highspots of Councillor Brian Allen’s year in office.
It will take place at Seaham Leisure Centre, on Friday April 29.
The musical accompaniment will be provided by the Midi Dance Orchestra, with a five-course meal on the menu, provided by Ramside Events Catering.
The function begins with dinner, at 7pm, interspersed during the evening with dancing to the band, followed later by a disco, ending at 1pm.
Tickets are now available for £27.50 each from Seaham Town Council’s civic offices, at 3 and 4 Adelaide Row, in the town centre, or by ringing 0191-581 8034.
