PLANS have been submitted to build nine bungalows on land next to a village pub.
Forric Construction Limited has put forward the proposals to develop the land to the rear of Glendinning Arms, in Witton Gilbert.
The company recently bought the land from another developer, who had planning permission to build five detached houses.
According to Forric’s research, there is likely to be greater demand for bungalows in the area.
If approved, the development would include seven three-bedroom properties and two two bedroom ones and there would be a combination of detached and semi-detached homes.
Each one would have a minimum of two bedrooms on the ground floor.
The new estate would be accessed via Front Street.
