A COUNTY Durham artists’ co-operative is holding an open studio event to mark its 25th anniversary.
Bearpark Artists’ Co-operative, made up of painters Romey Chaffer, Barrie Ormsby and John Foker, is hosting the event this Saturday and Sunday.
The artists, whose work is a response to the landscape of west Durham, are based in a studio at Bearpark Community Centre, near Durham, in the village’s Institute Terrace.
The studio is open between 10am and 4pm each day and a selection of paintings, drawings, prints and cards will be available.
Visits to the studio can also be arranged by calling 07913485965 or emailing bearparkart@aol.com.
