A SHOPPING centre is preparing to welcome little ghouls, pumpkins and zombies to raise money for charity.
Dalton Park, near Murton, is opening its 55 acres of parkland to parents and children on Sunday, with participants encouraged to raise funds for the Sick Children’s Trust.
Participants are invited to dress up in their scariest outfit for the event, with a fancy dress competition taking place on the day.
The Pumpkin Trail includes Trick or Treat pass points where participants can stock up on treats to keep them going on the 1.5km walk.
Last year’s charity Halloween walk was a sell-out event, so families who wish to take part are urged to get signed up quickly. To register for the free event visit www.dalton-park.co.uk/pumpkintrail
