A NORTH Durham group is calling on local women to spring into action by signing up for one of its free short courses.
Aspire Learning, Support and Wellbeing Community Interest Company (CIC), based in Aspire House, at the rear of Front Street, Chester-le-Street, offers students the chance to boost their skills and confidence, meet new friends and improve wellbeing at their women-only centre.
This term's courses cover a wide range of subjects, including arts and crafts, employability, gardening, yoga and complementary therapies.
Aspire director Jan Vincent said: "This term's programme is our most diverse yet.
“This reflects that fact that our courses are popular with a wide variety of women - from those looking to build the skills and confidence to return to work to those seeking a relaxing hobby or to make new friends."
Most courses start in the week beginning April 18, but enrolment is already underway. A list of courses is available to download from aspire-northeast.co.uk
For further information or to enrol, contact Aspire on 0191-389-1504 or email: enquires@aspire-northeast.co.uk
