SITCOM star Su Pollard is starring in a North-East pantomime this Christmas.

The Hi-de-Hi actress is playing the Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Sunderland Empire, alongside Eastenders and Dancing on Ice star, Matt Lapinskas as the Prince

Andrew Agnew, who is known to children as PC Plum in Balamory plays Muddles while Snow White is being played by Victoria Serra with Phillip Meeks as the dame, Nurse Penny.

“Audiences can expect exquisite costumes, enchanting sets, music, dance, fun, laughter and of course poisoned apples, a Magic Mirror and the most fabulous Seven Dwarfs you've ever seen.

“This mesmerising tale tells the story of a beautiful princess and the wicked jealous queen who is determined to be the fairest in all the land.

“After fleeing the Kingdom to escape the Queen’s evil plans, Snow White seeks refuge with seven dwarfs living in the forest who take pity on her.

“So prepare to be dazzled by this enchanting tale and watch as the beautiful Snow White and her seven little friends attempt to defeat the Wicked Queen.”

The show runs from Friday, December 12 to Sunday, January 4.
