A MAN was taken in by police for amedical assessment after a rooftop protest yesterday.
Police were called to Hillside Road, Darlington, at noon, following reports that a man had climbed onto a garage between Hillside Road and Woodvale Road.
Police and an ambulance were at the scene for more than two hours until the man came down.
