FAMILIES are being encouraged to visit a new toy library at a children's centre.
The library will be open every Wednesday, from 9.30am to 11.15am, at the Maidendale Children's Centre, in Firthmoor, Darlington.
The library is free to join and gives children the chance to take different toys home every week.
A storytelling and activity event launched the toy library this week.
The centre's story sack service, which allows children to borrow a bag of books and activities to take home, is also available.
