A SCHOOL volleyball team has reached the national quarter finals for the second year running.
The Hummerknott Schools under-16s team will travel to Kettering, Northamptonshire, this weekend to play in the knock-out stages of the National Schools Volleyball Cup.
The semi-final stage will take place in Sheffield later in the year.
To get to the quarter finals, the team beat Darlington Education Village 2-0, Acklam Grange School, Middlesbrough 2-1 and Nuneaton, Warwickshire 2-0.
The squad consists of Alex Eeles, Ryan Gray, Tom Gray, David Hookway, Benjie Kilcran, Ally Leigh, Rob Lucas, Andrew Peacock, Adam Pearson, Oliver Robinson, Matthew Rowan and Adam Tennant.
