A SUMMER fair is getting the VIP treatment tomorrow when it is opened by two former soap stars.
Leslie Grantham, who played Dirty Den in EastEnders, and Helen Weir, who used to be in Emmerdale, are starring in Write Me A Murder at Darlington Civic Theatre and will be taking time out to visit the annual summer fair, at George Dent Nursery, in Elm Road, Darlington.
The pair will open the fair at 12.50pm before playing their final night of thriller on Saturday evening.
