SCHOOL BIKES: A cycle parking shelter is to be built at St Augustine's RC Primary School, Beechwood Avenue, Darlington, in a bid to make it easier for pupils to cycle to school.

CCTV PLAN: Network Rail has announced plans to site new CCTV cameras at Bank Top Station, Darlington. The plans are available to view at the Town Hall.

RIDING CENTRE: Owners of a Darlington horse riding centre have applied for permission to use floodlights later into the night. Middleton Riding Centre, at Sadberge Road, Middleton St George, hopes to alter planning permission granted last June so that the lighting can be used for an extra hour until 10pm.
