BUDDING dancers are celebrating after spinning their way to success in practical exams.

Pupils from the Joanne Lowe School of Dance, in Darlington, have taken exams from the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA) in Freestyle and Latin.

The pupils, who practice three times a week at the ASE Club in North Road, Darlington, took their exams last month and have now been given the results.

About 70 pupils, aged between three and 15, attend the school, which has sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Their teacher, Joanne Lowe, said she was delighted they had done so well.

“I am really proud of them, “ she said. “They have worked really hard and done really well.”
