MUSICAL children have created a theatre production in just 48 hours as part of an arts workshop.
The 48 Musical took place at Darlington's Bondgate Methodist Church Hall during the last two days (Wed 28 and Thurs 29).
The workhops, led by community group Melting Pot Arts, attracted children aged from eight to 16-years-old, and follows previous musical workshops held at Easter.
Youngsters learnt how to perform pieces from musicals including High School Musical, Grease, Oliver, Fame and Annie.
Director of Melting Pot Arts, Rebecca McGarvie said: "The young people had the chance to learn new skills in singing, drama and dance.
"All of the sessions we offer are designed to build confidence and allow our participants to make a valued contribution in a safe environment."
