DARLINGTON will kick off the new Vanarama National League North season with a trip to AFC Fylde.

Having been out of action since last season was prematurely ended by the coronavirus pandemic in March, Quakers will kick off the 2020-21 season with an FA Cup second qualifying round game on October 3.

They will start their league campaign the following Tuesday with a trip to Flyde.

Their first home game since returning to the Darlington Arena will see them host Kidderminster Harriers on October 10.

Alun Armstrong's will make the short trip to neighbours Spennymoor Town on Boxing Day, and will end the season with a trip to Gloucester City on May 29.
