DARLINGTON is set to welcome a highly-acclaimed cast of singers, dancers and musicians as Vampire Rocks arrives next month.

On Sunday, February 16, Steve Steinman's Vampires Rock – Ghost Train will perform at Darlington Hippodrome.

Mr Steinman, who has previously performed as Meat Loaf on Stairs In Their Eyes, will reappear on stage as the 'musical sensation' visits the North-East in its eighteenth year.

A spokesperson for the show said: "Starring Steve Steinman and an incredible cast of singers, dancers and musicians, this show will have you rocking in the aisles.

"It is a tongue-in-cheek and laugh out loud storyline combined with an incredible stage set, lighting and sound, and a show like no other."

Featuring more than 30 classic rock anthems including Queen, AC/DC, Bonnie Tyler, Meat Load, Bon Jovi, Journey and Guns N' Roses.

Last month, the 100,000th ticket since the venue reopened after an extensive refurbishment three years ago was sold to theatre-goer Louise Vadgama.

Ms Vadgama then got the chance to meet with the stars of Jack and the Beanstalk, which was performed throughout December and into the first week of January.

Vampires Rocks tickets range from £16.50 to £34.50 depending on choice of seating.
