STAFF and children at a nursery are celebrating after receiving a glowing report following its latest inspection.

Kids 1st by Busy Bees in Darlington were rated 'Outstanding' by inspectors following their Ofsted visit on September 17.

This is the third year in a row the group have received the accolade as inspector confirmed all the children's needs were being fully met and their wellbeing looked after, with all individual areas rated as outstanding, including the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management.

Ofsted praised the nurseries partnership with parents, and said: "Partnership working with parents is outstanding and a key strength of the setting. Parents speak extremely highly of the staff team and the superb service they receive.”

The management team at the nursery were also praised for being “inspirational” with the report adding: “The members of the leadership team are inspirational. They are passionate and committed in their drive to continuously improve the setting. The manager has an exceptional knowledge of her role and individual responsibilities.

“Children thrive at this exceptional setting. They are provided with a rich, stimulating learning environment which excites and motivates them.”

"We’re all so thrilled that we can tell our parents that we are providing outstanding childcare for their children.”
