A FELINE who was frightened of people has finally found her 'fur-ever home' as a cat shelter celebrates a milestone achievement.
Timid Tallulah made the 300th cat to be rehomed at RSPCA Cat Rehoming Hub, based in Aeolian House, Darlington, since it first opened in September 2018.
Tallulah, who was a long-term resident having lived at the hub since February, overcame her fear of people and went home with her new family last Saturday.
Her happy ending meant that staff have achieved their goal to rehome 300 cats before the centre's first birthday.
Posting on Facebook, the hub said: "We have rehomed 300 cats, and who better to be lucky number 300 than Tallulah.
"Thank you to everyone who has viewed our cats, those who have shared our posts and of course those who have adopted from us."
The Rehoming Hub takes in cats who have been rescued by RSPCA inspectors and rehomes them through a match-up scheme.
