A SCHOOL has pulled out all the stops to raise essential funds for charity.
Children from the Federation of Abbey Schools have raised hundreds of pounds for Macmillan Cancer and the Butterwick Hospice through a series of events.
In December they took part in a Reindeer Parade to raise funds for the Butterwick Children’s Hospice and raised £423.58.
And last week children, staff, governors and parents were able to part in a workshop with the charity to see how the money raised benefits the community.

School governor Rita Hall said: "There was also an opportunity to buy merchandise and the children on the Charity Committee ran 'Guess the name of the Bear' and ‘Number of sweets in the Jar’ competitions.
"A further £104.23 was raised during the afternoon from donations."
