Diabetic play
DARLINGTON actor and playwright Jade Byrne will stage her show Pricks at the Pennyweight pub on Thursday, November 22. The play, which begins at 7pm, centres on the performer’s experiences living with type one diabetes. For details contact the venue.
Halloween fun
YOUNGSTERS can enjoy Halloween fun at the Cornmill Centre on Wednesday, October 31. Between 11am and 4pm, families are invited to meet creepy characters, play spooky games and take part in a themed workshop.
Classic film
DARLINGTON Film club will celebrate Halloween with a screening of 1977 classic horror The Hills Have Eyes. It will be shown from 7.30pm on Monday, October 29. Admission is £3 and includes popcorn.
