A COFFEE house has applied to re-open one of the empty units in a town centre shopping complex.
BB's Coffee and Muffins, based in Middlesex, has submitted plans to build one of its cafes in the Queen Street Shopping Centre, in Darlington.
It proposes to open a closed unit, between Rosebys and D + H Jewellers in the complex.
It will employ five staff at the cafe. There will be 38 seats in the restaurant area, with an additional ten in the mall area.
The company has more than 100 cafes across the country.
