A COMBINED 90 years of service is being celebrated by two workers employed in Darlington’s Cleveland Bridge.

Stewart Oliver, 65, has worked for half a century in the maintenance department with his colleague, Andy Lowes, 56, who has worked in various roles at the firm for 40 years.

The company operates a 22-acre site and can process 1,000 tonnes of steel per week.

Chris Droogan, Cleveland Bridge’s managing director, said: “The loyalty and work ethic that Stewart and Andy have shown is a real inspiration across our workforce.”
