ANYONE wanting to learn first aid skills is urged to pop into the Cornmill Shopping Centre on Friday.
Members of St John Ambulance will be offering advice and showing people how to safely carry out a number of lifesaving techniques.
Debbi Renton, a a first aid trainer for the charity, said the free lessons are open to young and old.
She said: "We will be there to teach children, young mothers and grandparents about lifesaving skills.
"People can call in throughout the day and there is no need to make an appointment. Sessions we have held previously have proved hugely successful and we are always happy to show everyone safe techniques.
The event takes place in the atrium area of the shopping centre between 10am and 4pm.
