A VOLUNTEERING father and son duo are calling for donations for a social enterprise which raises money to help equip people with new skills.
John and Paul Oliver are seeking second-hand furniture and goods to sell at More Time - a showroom in the headquarters of Newton Aycliffe-based DISC.
John, a volunteer for three years, said: “We’re always willing to receive donations in reusable condition.
“We’re looking for more household goods and we have the skills within the team here at More Time to refurbish old furniture to bring them back to standard.”
John works alongside son Paul for the charity which helps local people develop new skills with the aim of securing employment in the future.
Dawn McCreanor, More Time business manager, said: “All the money raised from the sale of these goods goes back into the More Time service.”
To donate call 01325 731294 or visit the shop at The IES Centre, Horndale Avenue, Aycliffe Business Park.
