AN estate agent has celebrated a decade with the same company.
Joanne Gatenby has risen through the ranks from a typist to head of the sales team at Charlton's Estate Agents.
Ms Gatenby joined the company in Darlington, in 1997, before moving to the Richmond office, where she spent seven years.
Following the birth of her son and maternity leave, she returned to work in Darlington.
Mike Charlton, principal of Charlton's Estate Agents, said: "Joanne is a key member of our team, and her passion for our business is so great that I'm expecting her to be after my job any time now.
"We're all very pleased to have her as a colleague and look forward to many more years of working together."
Ms Gatenby said: "A decade has gone very quickly, but it's been a lot of fun in what is a very fast-moving industry.
