SHOPPERS were treated to a dance extravaganza at the weekend when Darlington town centre was filled with colour and movement.
The Mass Dance, which was choreographed by Debbie Harbin of the D project and Darrien Wright of Dance Wright Studios, was a ‘Tribute to the Services’.
Dozens of dancers including Britain’s Got Talent Bionik Funk, The Lions of Zululand, contemporary from Lo-Giudice Dance Company and salsa from Gregory Abouna, took part in the event on Saturday.
They were joined by Darlington Memorial Hospital staff, Police Community Support Officers and the mini Police Cadets from Heathfield School.
The event wass organised by Darlington Dance Festival Association which is a voluntary group which comes together to get people dancing. For more information contact darlingtondfa@gmail.comor
