TODDLERS took inspiration from Hollywood when they took part in a sponsored event.
Forty-five children, aged from only six months, dressed up in costumes to raise money for Barnardo's. Many children at the High Bank Day Nursery, in Stapleton, near Darlington, dressed up as Spider-Man. Others came as princesses and pirates.
They were taking part in the national Toddle Waddle.
Tracy Reed, from the nursery, said more than £200 was raised. She hoped the nursery's final figure could top last year's total of £1,000.
