HUNDREDS of people will parade through the streets of Darlington to mark the town's 25th annual Community Carnival.
The parade returns to the town centre on Saturday June 30 after it was unable to be held last year because of the Pedestrian Heart works.
About 200 participants will leave Stanhope Park at noon and parade along Vane Terrace, Duke Street, onto Blackwellgate and then High Row. It will then turn around and return to the park.
The event, which is held in Stanhope Park, will start at noon when Darlington Mayor Councillor Marion Swift officially opens the proceedings.
A Darlington community aarnival benefit concert takes place on the evening in the Arts Centre. Local band Rhythm Method will perform an soul, swing and R'n'B from 8pm in the Garden Bar. Tickets are £5 from the box office on 01325-486-555.
