A LEARNING co-ordinator is celebrating after being recognised for her work in the post-16 sector.
Tracey Baldwin, from Newton Aycliffe, works in the town's learndirect centre, in Bradbury Road, Newton Aycliffe industrial estate.
She recently collected the learndirect Achievement Award at the North-East regional awards ceremony.
As a learndirect co-ordinator Mrs Baldwin works across a range of roles at the centre, from tutoring learners on an individual basis to running the centre and organising staff.
Recently, she also worked with HMP Durham's learndirect outreach programme, supporting learners and helping the prison develop its learning programmes.
Isobel Currie, from Communicators Learning Associates learndirect centre, Newton Aycliffe, said: "Tracy is a very versatile member of the team who gives nothing but her best."
