LIONS, tigers and bears are currently prowling the streets of Darlington.
Hundreds of youngsters have donned animal guises to take part in the annual Community Carnival.
Drummers led a colourfully costumed crowd from Darlington's Market Square at noon.
It is now heading to Stanhope Park where carnival activities will continue throughout the afternoon.
